The argument for building a robot shaped like a person is simple. The world is already built for people. Doors, stairs, shelf heights, tools, vehicles. A machine with a human shape can use all of it without rebuilding the building.
The argument against is also simple. Legs are hard, expensive, and less stable than wheels. Hands with fingers are far harder than a gripper. You pay a lot for the human shape and often get less reliability.

Labour pressure. Warehouses and factories in many countries cannot fill shifts. That makes a robot with an imperfect success rate worth buying anyway.
What is still hard
Hands. Human hands are absurdly good and nothing comes close yet, especially with soft, slippery, or fragile objects.
Battery life. A humanoid running hard does not last a full shift, which means charging plans and spare units.
Cost per unit of work. A robot has to beat a person on total cost including installation, maintenance, downtime, and the engineer who comes out when it stops.
Safety rules. Putting a heavy moving machine near people brings regulation, insurance, and liability questions that are still being worked out.

If you do not run a warehouse, a factory, or a logistics operation, this is a trend to watch rather than act on. Nothing here is relevant to an office yet.
If you do run one, the useful step is to work out which tasks in your operation are repetitive, physically hard, and happen in a consistent space. Those are the ones vendors will approach you about, and knowing your own numbers before that conversation is worth a lot.
